Space Availability - Triton College Library

FOR INSTRUCTORS ONLY-Use to schedule library instruction for your classes.

• The Library offers instruction through three locations:
  • Library Classroom-A215 
  • Requesting Instructor's Classroom (a librarian will come to your classroom any time M-R 8 AM - 7:30 PM, F 9 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • Online through Blackboard Ultra.
• The library classroom is to be scheduled for Library Instruction Classes or Research Study Sessions only.
• These offerings must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
• You will receive an email confirming your date(s) and time(s) have been scheduled.
• Your class is not scheduled until you receive a confirmation email.
• There are three Library Instruction types:
  • Library Instruction Class: Introduction to Information Literacy
  • Additional Library Instruction or Information Literacy Class (follow-up): This is a follow-up appointment to discuss research and information literacy topics in more depth.
  • Research Study Session*: Classes without library instruction can use the library classroom as a research lab. A librarian will be on hand to help with research and answer questions.

*If scheduling a Research Study Session the class must have already had a first library instruction class. Research Study sessions will be canceled if no library instruction has taken place or is scheduled.

The classroom has 20 computer stations, but there is room in the back for additional seating without a computer.
