Hispanic Heritage Read-In

Hispanic Heritage Read-In In-Person

The Triton College Library proudly celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a Read-In.

Wednesday, October 1st at 11 AM in the Library Main Commons

What’s a Read-In?

The idea originates from the National African American Read-In, which was established to bring people together to read and celebrate the works of African American authors. These events can range from small gatherings of friends sharing their favorite books to larger events featuring public readings.

Inspired by that, we thought—what better way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month than by bringing our campus and community together to share and enjoy Hispanic authors and stories?

We are excited that several of our Triton staff members will be participating in this event. President Moore has also accepted an invitation to read.

Come and join us and be inspired by excellent narrative, prose, and poetry and then check out our collection of various Hispanic authors.
